H4 is an active, in-use internal system that supports HealthPulse's reimbursement analysis and advisory work. It is not a product available for license, subscription, or demonstration.
Five functions.
Two of these functions work very differently from each other, and HealthPulse is specific about which is which.
National classification and routing, by category.
H4 classifies and routes providers nationally by reimbursement category. For example, it distinguishes IPPS-governed hospitals from PCH/TEFRA-governed cancer centers, so that the correct payment methodology is applied to each.
This is a routing and classification function. It does not compare outcomes, rates, or performance across hospitals.
HealthPulse's own dataset, and only that dataset.
These functions draw on a growing, proprietary set of advanced-therapy reimbursement instruments built from HealthPulse's direct negotiation experience.
Findings are observational and specific to the systems represented in that dataset. They are not nationally representative conclusions or cross-hospital percentile benchmarks.
Every finding in H4 carries provenance and confirmation-status controls designed to reduce the risk of an unsupported conclusion being represented as fact, including inside HealthPulse's own analysis.
Broader automation, larger-scale document processing, claims-and-remittance matching, client-facing dashboards, and commercial deployment. These are active development priorities, not current capabilities.
